The 2016 show was watched by viewers in over 100 countries across the world – here’s a quick guide to tuning in from abroad this year.

The Toy Show will be live-streamed from 9.35pm Irish time on the RTÉ Player, which can be accessed both on desktop and the mobile app (available on iOS and Android).

RTÉ have compiled a handy list of international starting times for your perusal:

And here are some extra times for people in other Irish emigration hubs:

  • Vancouver: Friday afternoon at 1.35pm
  • Perth: Saturday morning at 5.35am
  • Auckland: Saturday morning at 10.35am

Good luck to most of ye in the Southern Hemisphere, is all we’ll say (but if you sleep through your alarm, you’ll be able to catch it on demand afterwards).

The RTÉ Player has been known to freeze or lag due to the huge demand on its services during the Toy Show – if it comes to that, Twitter is usually a good place to find alternative streams (try searching ‘RTE live stream’ or ‘#toyshow live stream’).

As always, we’ll be liveblogging the whole show here on DailyEdge.ie, so don’t worry about missing a thing. Happy Toy Show Day!
